In the holy Chapel of our Saviour there is the carved figure of a centaur, which was said to feed on humans, and strike terror wherever it went. It grazed in the Orchard of the Horse where it was killed by a convict in order to seek his freedom. A grill was erected in the orchard which remains to this day. | ||
